A residency at Mason & Fifth dedicated to making by hand.

Open to all, set within a quiet and generous space.

Working with leather and natural materials, the focus is on simple processes: cutting, stitching, forming, repairing.

Things are made slowly, with attention to detail.

The work is grounded in making. Discovered through touch and in following what the material wants to do.

There is space to make for yourself, and for others to make for you.

Nothing is fixed at the moment of completion. Marks, variation, and change remain part of the object.

What is made here carries time. It continues to live beyond the making.

Something to keep. To use. To live with.
